Do I need insurance to sign up?
No insurance is required or accepted for your monthly membership. You pay $75/month directly — no co-pays, no deductibles, no claims. If you want to use your insurance for labs or imaging separately, you can.
Which states do you serve?
Comal Wellness currently serves patients in Texas and Hawaii. Expansion to additional states is in progress — if you're outside these states, contact us to join the waitlist and we'll notify you when your state is live.
How quickly can I get my first appointment?
Most new patients are seen the same day they sign up. After enrolling, you'll immediately be able to book through your patient portal. Urgent concerns are always prioritized.
What if I need a specialist or have to go to the ER?
Dr. Jeffcoat will provide specialist referrals and stay coordinated throughout your care. For emergencies, always call 911 or go to your nearest ER — Comal Wellness is not a substitute for emergency care.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — no contracts, no cancellation fees, no commitment period. Cancel anytime through your patient portal or by contacting us directly. We don't believe in locking people in.
How does messaging work between visits?
Message Dr. Jeffcoat directly through your secure patient portal. He responds within 24 hours, often same day. No nurse as a go-between — your message goes directly to your doctor.
What about the Annual Wellness Lab Panels?
Lab panels are an optional add-on for active members. The Essential Panel is $99 (60+ biomarkers) and the Advanced Panel is $349 (90+ biomarkers) — both at negotiated cash-pay rates through Quest Diagnostics. Dr. Jeffcoat reviews and explains every result with you in a dedicated visit. Billed separately from your monthly membership.
